  • At The Body Method our classes are all levels; we don’t have classes specifically for beginners.

We are able to modify our classes for each person depending on where you are in your wellbeing journey. This is especially the case at our Tugun Beach studio. At our Cornerstone studio, while all of the classes are still all levels, some classes are faster paced than others.

Because of this we recommend beginners start out in the following classes where the pace is a bit slower: Flow Yin, Restorative, Slow Flow, Pilates Mat, Barre, and Meditation.

Pregnant, Post or Pre-Natal? We Got You Mama!

  • Absolutely, we encourage it! However it is recommended that if you weren’t exercising pre-pregnancy that you be careful and avoid overdoing exercise while you are pregnant. We strongly suggest coming into a private or semi-private class first, especially if you are new to our studio. During pregnancy your instructor will modify the class to assist in the stage of your pregnancy.

  • The recommended time frame is at least 6 weeks post partum. We will require clearance from your GP that it is safe to proceed with movement and if any/ how much abdominal separation has occurred or any other complications that may have presented during pregnancy.

Other Questions We Get Asked All The Time

  • We suggest 2-3 times per week. This allows the body recovery time in between sessions, and this recommendation may vary depending on your individual goals.

We suggest mixing it up by adding in additional classes like yin yoga, meditation and our Stretch, Roll and Release. This combined will have you feeling stronger and calmer from the inside out.

  • At The Body Method we do require that you cancel your class at least 6hrs prior to class, if you cancel within the 6hr time frame a cancellation fee of the cost of your session will be deducted from your account, if you are on an untimed direct debit option, you will be debited a $10 late cancellation fee. You can find our full list of terms and conditions here.

  • We know life happens, but we also only have just a single hour with you, and therefore start our classes right on time. Generally our teachers allow for a 2 min grace period if they can see that someone hasn’t made it yet. Please be mindful though that once the class has commenced, the door will be closed and we ask that you please be respectful to both the teacher and others clients by meeting us in class another time.

  • Class packs are great as they give you a discounted rate with no minimum weekly class requirement. You are free to use your class pack over a 6 month period.

Alternatively, if you practice on a regular bases or you are that someone who needs a little encouragement to stay accountable, our membership options may be for you. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions here.

Visit our Cornerstone Studio or Tugun Studio pages to learn more about our class-types and pricing options.

  • There needs to be a minimum of 2 clients in the class for it to go ahead. You will be notified and rescheduled if the class is cancelled.
