Visualisation is a powerful tool for achieving your goals. When we think about joy, we often reminisce about the ‘good times’ of years gone by. But this can also bring up negative feelings too. For example, you might feel that your body doesn’t work the way it used to, or you might look back at photos of your younger self and wonder where they disappeared to. By visualising your future, you can take the lessons of years gone by and create a future self that your younger self would have dreamed of. Imagining yourself living a joyful life daily, and your subconscious will work to make it a reality.
